Rien à foutre is a French-Belgian film co-directed by Emmanuel Marreand Julie Lecoustre. After the death of her mother in a car accident, Cassandre turns her back on her family: she leaves her father and sister and becomes a flight attendant for a low-cost airline. Unable to project herself into the future, she lives from day to day between her work, life with the staff on the ground, nights in clubs and ephemeral encounters through social networks. Adèle Exarchopoulos is at the heart of the film, staged in spaces of passage(airport, night club, hotel) imbued with a melancholic atmosphere.

The Many Saints of Newark is a 2021 American crime film directed by Alan Taylor. A prequel to the HBO crime series The Sopranos, it is set in the 1960s and 1970s in Newark, New Jersey. The film follows a violent gang war from the point of view of gangster Dickie Moltisanti and his teenage nephew, Tony Soprano, amidst the 1967 riots in the city. Many scenes in the film take place in darkness and intimacy. You will discover screencaps with many night shots or scenes in bedrooms with soft daylight coming through the curtains.

Cloud Atlas is a German-American science fiction film, written, produced and directed by the Wachowskis and Tom Tykwer. The scenario consists of six stories taking place in different places at different times and each focused on a central character who has in common a comet-shaped birthmark on his body. These characters are inspired in their adventures by a legacy from the previous story. In a more general way, the stories are all echoing each other by visual recurrences (similar settings, details) or verbal (similar sentences, jokes becoming reality...). The characters are evolving in totally different universes and landscapes throughout the movie. You will discover a lot of beautiful stills of science-fi decors and costumes as well as scenes happening in natural landscapes (sea, jungle, etc) in the 19th century or in the city heart of London during the century after.
