At a time where we all spend few minutes of your days looking at ourselves via our phones cameras, I'm wondering if this over consumption of the self benefits us or harms us.  Working in the visual creative industry, I'm amazed to see how people generate profits by using the “self” as a commercial product and simultaneously can observe the damaged caused by it especially within the young generation.

Connecting with the true self can be healing whereas assimilating the others true self can be source of a lot of harm.
